WELCOME

In a creative collaboration between 90 students from the Politecnico di Milano School of Design and Chinese universities, Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and Jiangnan University, School of Design, and 15 emerging brands, Wake Up!

A project without borders, coordinated for the Polytechnic of Milan School of Design by teachers Arturo dell’Acqua and Eugenia Chiara and for Wake up by Giulia Brighenti and Francesca Rossi, which merges innovation and didactic experimentation with the fervor of the design industry fashion and design.

The previous edition created a dynamic network, uniting the most incisive voices of emerging Italian fashion at Fiere di Parma. In this new guise, Wake Up! instead it wants to be a generator of opportunities, exchanges of ideas, incubator and scouter of trends, connecting international students with new Italian brands.

The project will see its completion during Mercantienfiera, the exhibition dedicated to designer design and vintage collecting, which has always been an ambassador of Made in Italy and custodian of the European Cultural Archive, where students will have the opportunity to exhibit their projects to visitors.

The new edition of Wake Up! it will be woven with threads of sustainability, cultural contamination and refined craftsmanship.
